I studied 58 AI startup landing pages over three days. Not to grade their design, not to compare their pricing — I wanted to see what actually shows up above the fold, because that's the entire pitch. Everything below is negotiation.
Some patterns held across every category: coding agents, AI infra, vertical sales tools, creative apps, legal, meetings, hardware. Others held only inside a category. All the counts here come from the actual pages, not a survey. I fetched each, waited for JavaScript to render, and read the fold.
The interesting part isn't which page won. It's how often the same five moves showed up.
