This Privacy Policy explains how Cogaid Solutions Private Limited ("Makersfuel", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use the Makersfuel website and services. We are the data controller. Our full entity details are in the Impressum.
Data we collect
Account: your email address (for passwordless sign-in via our auth provider). Profile (optional, you provide): display name, username, bio, location, areas of expertise, what you're looking for, avatar, and social links. Content: forum posts, launches, messages, and connections you create. Newsletter: your email if you subscribe to the Dispatch. Technical: standard server logs and strictly-necessary cookies (see the Cookie Policy). We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site today.
How we use it, and our legal bases
We use your data to provide and secure the service (performance of a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), to keep the platform safe and improve it (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)), and to send the newsletter or set non-essential cookies where you have given consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing
We share data with processors that run the service on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Ghost (publication/content hosting), and Resend (email and newsletter delivery). We share data with the portfolio products (Makersclaw, Assistiv.ai, AskCodi) only if you choose to click through to them. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
We operate from India, and our providers (Supabase, Ghost, Resend) process data in the United States. Where personal data of EEA/UK residents is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you delete your account we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we collect, to delete and correct it, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children
Makersfuel is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 16 and over (13 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect data from children below these ages.
